Dr. Samson Cho has 20 years of clinical experience, specialized in sports injuries and arthroscopic surgeries. He emphasizes the importance of tailor-made treatment plan according to the individual's sports, working, daily activities and time schedule, starting from conservative approach until the real necessity to surgery. He is experienced in conservative treatment such as prolotherapy, rehab strategy and arthroscopic surgeries for shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle joints. He is leading a team of multi-specialties including surgeons, physiotherapists, chiropractors, etc. to provide comprehensive customized medical service to all individuals’ needs.

Dr Jason Brockwell is an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in hip & pelvic problems. Dr Brockwell performs both established and innovative procedures for hip and pelvic problems, especially in young people, including cortisone and hyaluronic acid injections; autologous tenocyte implantation (for hamstring and gluteal tendon problems); hip arthroscopy (mainly for Femoro-Acetabular Impingement); various types of hips replacement, including Birmingham Hip Resurfacing and conventional total hip replacement; and revision hip replacement; pelvic and femoral osteotomies (for dysplasia and increased femoral anteversion); treatment of fractures around the hip; and treatment of Sacro-Iliac (SI) joint problems, groin pain, “sports hernia”, osteitis pubis, & pelvic floor pain.

Dr Brockwell received his medical degree from the University of Birmingham, UK, in 1989 and did his orthopaedic residency training at Queen Mary Hospital, the teaching hospital of Hong Kong University, and fellowship training in London, UK. He entered private practice in 2002 and founded Asia Medical Specialists in 2005. Dr Brockwell teaches hip surgery and is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Hip Preservation Surgery.

Dr. Zhaozhen Chen

Dr. Zhaozhen Chen has over 10 years of clinical experience in orthopedics. His clinical practice focuses on joint and spine surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic treatment of meniscal injuries, synovitis, ligament injuries, rotator cuff tears, and adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder). He is also experienced in total hip replacement and total knee replacement, and has a particular interest in minimally invasive treatment of cervical spondylosis and lumbar disc herniation. Dr. Chen is committed to providing patient-centred, comprehensive, and individualized treatment plans.

Dr. Zhaozhen Chen graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a degree in Clinical Medicine. He has worked for many years at high-end private medical institutions in Shanghai, gaining extensive experience in international healthcare services. He completed advanced training in the Departments of Joint Surgery and Spine Surgery at Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, where he further developed his expertise in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, and spine surgery. Dr. Chen currently serves as Committee Member of the Orthopedic Minimally Invasive Professional Committee of the Shanghai Association of Social Medical Institutions, Committee Member of the Orthopedic Branch of the China National Health Industry Enterprise Management Association, and Committee Member of the Medical Device Innovation and Application Branch of the China Medical Equipment Association. He has published five papers in leading Chinese medical journals.

Dr. Peng Cao has over 30 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, with expertise in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of common spinal degenerative diseases such as cervical and shoulder pain, lumbar and leg pain, spinal injuries, and osteoporosis. He is also skilled in the comprehensive diagnosis and surgical management of complex spinal disorders, including spinal deformities, spinal tumors, and spinal infections.

Dr. Cao is a Chief Physician and Doctoral Supervisor at Ruijin Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He trained under renowned orthopedic experts, Professor Benfu Chai (Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Professor Qingming Yang (Lifetime Professor at Ruijin Hospital). Dr. Cao has had multiple opportunities to study and train at prestigious orthopedic hospitals in Germany, Spain, the United States, and Singapore, focusing on spinal and spinal cord injury or degeneration, particularly in fusion and minimally invasive techniques. He has led multiple national scientific research projects and was selected for the “New Hundred Talents Program” of the Shanghai Health System (also known as the “Outstanding Discipline Leader Program”) and the “Hundred Talents Training Program” of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
